After the festivities settled

New Year passed, Chinese New Year passed, family HK holiday passed, Vietnam field trip for work passed... finally, festivities settled. Now, for some directions...

Let's see... I have the first month party of BB Paige (the bundle of joy of Joyce and Xian Hung) to attend this Sat. Very soon, I expect to attend another of BB (insert name later), who will be the bundle of joy of Annie and Haonian). Somewhere late July, the bundle of joy of Anna and Vic will be making its way to join the club.

Let's see... wedding of a cousin in March, wedding of CJ and another cousin in June. I won't be surprised that another one or two red bombs get thrown my way as 2012 progresses.

This is a year to be frugal, curb desires and save! The icing on the cake is a year-end holiday with the boyfriend and two bestest travel companions-cum-friends. All is in the pipeline but at least there is a direction.

And just before Mr Jesus comes again to confuse us all with his deluded declarations, let's all gear up for The Hobbit!

It will be a good year, 2012!

This is the way we celebrate V-day

Just as I was reading through some past February entries, I decided to drop a post here. Random, perhaps.

What happened this V day went like this:
I went to meet my parents and Jt for dinner after work; Emman went to gym after he knocked off from work.
I did my laundry, had my usual dose of TV-in-one-sitting (i.e. about an hour or two); Emman did his workout, had his usual dose of gym (i.e. also about 1.5-2h).
I went over to his place and packed two bbq chicken wings from the coffee shop near his house. He didn't want any wings, so I ate two on my own, while watching TV (CSI:Miami) at his place. He was sending out resumes to his headhunters.

Finally... the moment!

em: (sat down with a Fuji apple) I accompany my sweetsweet first.
me: Oh, but I'm almost done (with my wings)... sure you don't want?
em: No.
me: Ok. Happy V-day, dardee.
em: Happy V-day. I love you. *kiss
me: *kiss I love you too! (continues with wings and TV)
